Chris Lopez is a Vice President at Hall Capital Partners LLC and a member of the Information Technology Group. He is responsible for and oversees the infrastructure, engineering, and cybersecurity initiatives.
Mr. Lopez joined the firm in 2017. Previously, Mr. Lopez was the Director of IT and Security at Coastland Capital, where he collaborated with staff and vendors to architect, assess, and prioritize technology and security projects across the firm. He was also the Director of KnowVera, where he managed the infrastructure and IT operations. Prior to that, Mr. Lopez held technology positions at Diamondback Capital Management and Eze Castle Integration.
Mr. Lopez is certified as a CISSP and CCNP.
Gina Lynnle is the Vice President of Finance at Hall Capital Partners LLC.
Ms. Lynnle joined the firm in 2014. Prior to joining Hall Capital Partners, she worked for Rothstein Kass, a mid-sized accounting firm focused on the hedge fund and private equity space, for over nine years. There, she worked on audits and taxes and provided mentoring to female colleagues. She left the firm, which was later acquired by KPMG, as a Tax Manager.
Saba Movahedi is a Principal at Hall Capital Partners LLC, where she is the Head of the Firm’s Operational Due Diligence & Research Operations group. She is also a member of the firm’s Investment Review Committee.
Ms. Movahedi joined the firm in 2017. Prior to joining Hall Capital Partners, Ms. Movahedi worked at Jefferies LLC, a global investment bank. At Jefferies, Ms. Movahedi was an Associate Vice President in the Prime Brokerage group with a focus on Business Consulting and Capital Introductions. Prior to Jefferies LLC, Ms. Movahedi was the Marketing Manager at Brighton House Associates. Ms. Movahedi started her career as an Operational Marketing Manager at Trace One, a Boston and Paris based software firm.
Nicholas Navarro is an Operations Manager at Hall Capital Partners in San Francisco.
Mr. Navarro joined the firm in 2007. Prior to moving to San Francisco and joining Hall Capital Partners, Mr. Navarro spent several years working in and around the ocean – first, as a commercial salmon fisherman in Egegik, Alaska (which is reachable only by boat or bush plane) and then, as an assistant coach for his alma mater’s rowing team.
Fred Neary is a Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Hall Capital Partners LLC in San Francisco.
Prior to joining the firm in 2021, Mr. Neary spent three years at the law firm Goodwin Procter LLP in San Francisco, where he worked as an associate in the private investment funds group advising venture capital funds, private equity funds, hedge funds and funds-of-funds in connection with structuring, formation and operations. Prior to Goodwin, Mr. Neary spent two years as an associate at the law firm Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP in New York.
Viet Nguyen is a Managing Director at Hall Capital Partners LLC and Head of Pooled Vehicles and Innovations. Mr. Nguyen leads the firm’s innovations efforts and his responsibilities include providing strategic direction to firm-wide operations and evaluating new solutions in each of our key business areas. Mr. Nguyen also oversees all finance and operations for Hall Capital’s Pooled Vehicles program.
Mr. Nguyen joined the firm in 2007 as an Accounting Manager in the Pooled Vehicle Administration group. Previously, he worked at CITCO Fund Services, most recently as a Senior Account Manager. Prior to that, Mr. Nguyen spent part of his career with Harris, Bretall, Sullivan & Smith, an investment management firm, as an Assistant Portfolio Manager. He began his career in accounting at Lend Lease Rosen Real Estate Securities as a Portfolio/Fund Accountant.
Wael Nosseir is an Operations Manager in the Data Operations Group at Hall Capital Partners in San Francisco.
Mr. Nosseir joined the firm in 2016, in what was then the Corporate Analytics team. Prior to joining Hall Capital Partners, Mr. Nosseir spent time at VSP Global in their Client Financial Services group.
Gilbert Nuñez is a Senior Business Intelligence Associate and Data Solutions Lead at Hall Capital Partners in New York.
Mr. Nuñez joined the firm in 2011. Prior to joining Hall Capital Partners, Mr. Nuñez interned at Credit Suisse Private Banking.
Ed Patron is a Managing Director at Hall Capital Partners LLC leading the Information Technology group. He is responsible for technology infrastructure, application development, operations, and engineering. He is also a member of the firm’s Investment Review Committee.
Prior to joining the firm in 2011, Mr. Patron was the Chief Technology Officer at Round Table Investment Management, a global, multi-strategy hedge fund. He was also the Chief Technology Officer and Head of Investment Operations at Charles Schwab Investment Management, where he managed the technology infrastructure, application development, and operations personnel.
Previously, Mr. Patron served as the Director of Information Technology at Standard Pacific Capital and as a Vice President at J.P. Morgan Securities managing information technology for the Research department. He has also held technology and operations positions at Massachusetts Financial Services and Fidelity Investments in Boston.
Marie Pierre is a Vice President and the Head of DEI & Talent at Hall Capital Partners LLC in San Francisco. She leads talent management, professional development, and recruiting strategy across the firm, and works closely with Human Capital and other business leaders on various firmwide people-related initiatives. She also co-chairs Hall Capital Partners’ Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion practice, in conjunction with the firm’s senior management team.
Ms. Pierre initially joined Hall Capital in 2013 as an Analyst in the firm’s Portfolio Management practice. She was promoted to Associate in 2015 and has also served as a Special Projects Associate, PMG Manager, and Co-Chief of Staff within the Portfolio Management Group.
