Eric Alt is a Managing Partner and Co-Chief Investment Officer of Hall Capital Partners LLC. He is also a member of the firm’s Board of Directors, Executive Committee, Management Committee, and Investment Review Committee.
Prior to joining the firm in 2006, Mr. Alt spent four years as a Managing Director in convertible securities at Piper Jaffray & Co. in San Francisco. Previously, he worked for Robertson Stephens, most recently as a Managing Director in the convertible securities department. While at Piper Jaffray & Co. and Robertson Stephens, Mr. Alt was involved in over 100 convertible new issue and restructuring transactions. Prior to joining Robertson Stephens in 1997, Mr. Alt was a principal in an entrepreneurial venture and also worked at Kluge & Company, a private investment firm, where he focused on venture investments. He started his career in 1989 at Arthur Andersen & Co. in Dallas as a Certified Public Accountant in the firm’s Real Estate Advisory group.
Laura Andron is a Managing Director at Hall Capital Partners LLC, where she is Co-Head of the firm’s Private Equity and Venture Capital investment group. She is also a member of the firm’s Investment Review Committee.
Prior to joining Hall Capital in 2012, Ms. Andron worked at Horsley Bridge Partners, a private equity fund of funds. There, she focused on venture, growth, and buyout investments, working in the firm’s San Francisco, London, and Beijing offices. Ms. Andron started her career at Duff & Phelps.
Mohammad Barkeshli is a Vice President at Hall Capital Partners LLC, where he is Co-Head of the firm’s Diversifying Strategies Group, focusing on investments across credit, fixed income, absolute return, and real assets. Mr. Barkeshli is also responsible for the firm’s impact investing efforts across asset classes, known as Full Consequence Investing, and is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee and Investment Review Committee.
Prior to re-joining Hall Capital in 2021, Mr. Barkeshli was a private credit investor at Community Investment Management, where he helped launch a new Emerging Markets strategy. Mr. Barkeshli was previously a member of the investment team at Queensland Investment Corporation in London, where he focused on transportation and water infrastructure transactions, and at a Middle Eastern sovereign wealth fund, where he worked on sustainability-related investments.
Mr. Barkeshli was a co-founder of Bakhita Girls, an educational social enterprise in Tanzania, and has served on the boards of the Foundation for Sustainable Development as well as Global Glimpse. Currently he is a board member at Ilmhona, a workforce re-training NGO in Central Asia, and an advisor to the Stanford GSB Impact Fund as well as Stanford Emergence, an initiative aimed at educating and supporting engineering students to tackle global systemic challenges.
Myles Danielsen is a Managing Director at Hall Capital Partners LLC in the Public Equity group in San Francisco. Mr. Danielsen is responsible for research, identification, due diligence, and monitoring of long-only public equity investments and long-short equity hedge funds. In addition to his core role in public equities, Mr. Danielsen is the head of the Cross Asset Research & Strategy team, within which he has led the firm’s effort in crypto since 2016. He is also a member of the firm’s Investment Review Committee.
Mr. Danielsen originally joined Hall Capital as an Analyst in the Client Services group in 2009. After moving to the Research group, Mr. Danielsen spent time in the Real Assets group, where he focused on investments in real estate, energy, timber, and other tangible assets, before temporarily leaving the firm in 2014 to pursue his MBA at Stanford.
Kathryn Hall is Founder and Co-Chair of Hall Capital Partners LLC, and she is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and Investment Review Committee.
Before founding Hall Capital Partners in 1994, Ms. Hall was a General Partner of Laurel Arbitrage Partners, a risk arbitrage investment partnership that she founded in 1989. Prior to that, she was a General Partner of HFS Management Partners (predecessor to Farallon Capital Partners), HFS Partners I, and Hellman & Friedman. Ms. Hall began her career at Morgan Stanley, where she worked in both the risk arbitrage and mergers and acquisitions departments.
Lizzie Fisher Marshall is a Managing Director at Hall Capital Partners LLC, where she Co-Leads the firm’s Private Equity and Venture Capital investment group. She also leads the firm’s impact investing efforts, which we call Full Consequence Investing. She is a member of the firm’s Investment Review Committee.
Ms. Marshall joined Hall Capital in 2007 and initially focused on Private Equity and Venture Capital strategies. She then spent several years leading Hall Capital’s Real Assets group focused on real estate, energy, timber, agriculture and other hard assets, and returned in 2015 to oversee Private Equity. Prior to joining the firm, she worked at Goldman Sachs, where she most recently worked in the Equities Division in London and previously worked in the Investment Management Division in Chicago.
Jessica Reed Saouaf is Co-Chief Investment Officer and a Managing Director of Hall Capital Partners LLC. She is also a member of the firm’s Executive Committee, Management Committee, and Investment Review Committee.
Ms. Reed Saouaf joined the firm in 1999 and has held a number of positions, among them Head of the Private Equity group, where she focused on private equity buyout/growth and venture capital investments; Head of the Public Equity group, where she focused on public equity and equity hedge fund investments; Head of Distressed, where she focused on distressed investment strategies in the private and public markets; Research Associate; and Research Analyst. Ms. Reed Saouaf took a sabbatical to earn her M.B.A. at which time she also interned at Buena Vista Fund Management.
Orin Wicks is a Managing Director at Hall Capital Partners LLC in the Public Equity group where he is responsible for research, identification, due diligence, and monitoring of long-only public equity investments and long-short equity hedge funds. He is also a member of the firm’s Investment Review Committee.
Mr. Wicks joined Hall Capital as an Analyst in the Client Services group in 2006. After moving to the Research group in 2007, Mr. Wicks has spent time in both the Private Equity and Absolute Return/Credit teams before joining the Public Equity team in 2016. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as a Project Assistant at Jones Day.
Mr. Wicks is a member of the CFA Institute and is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Brian Zeiger is a Managing Director at Hall Capital Partners LLC and co-head of the firm’s Diversifying Strategies group, focusing on investments in credit, hedge funds, real estate, energy, and other tangible assets. He is also a member of the firm’s Investment Review Committee.
Prior to joining the firm in 2012, Mr. Zeiger was Director of Portfolio Management at CarVal Investors, an independent subsidiary of Cargill Inc., that manages distressed and credit intensive assets. While at CarVal, Mr. Zeiger focused on value-added and opportunistic equity and debt investments in North American real estate. Previously, Mr. Zeiger worked in acquisitions and asset management at Fremont Realty Capital and as an associate in the Real Estate & Lodging Investment Banking Group at Banc of America Securities LLC. He started his career as an investment banking analyst at Merrill Lynch & Co.
Mr. Zeiger is a member of the CFA Institute and a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
