Nicole Benun is a Manager of Research Operations and Chief of Staff of the Investment Research Group at Hall Capital Partners in San Francisco. She is responsible for designing, improving, and implementing new systems and processes in order to continuously enhance the firm’s investment diligence work.
Nicole initially joined Hall Capital in 2017 as an intern in the firm’s Investment Research group, focused on Public Equities. She then spent four years on the firm’s Private Equity team, completing due diligence on investment managers across venture capital and private equity strategies.

University of California at Berkeley, B.S. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research
What attracted you to HCP?
The rare opportunity to work at an inclusive and supportive firm within finance, and the ability to have a voice and make an impact early in my career.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Reading, recommending books, talking about books I’ve read, and spending time with family and friends.
Little known fact about me:
I always wanted to be an architect growing up, and still nerd out over architecture and the built world.
